I have known that designing was my dream since I was a little girl. It has not been easy to succeed in the fashion industry, but it has brought me an enormous sense of satisfaction.

For us women it is extremely important to look good, have a healthy body, and take care of ourselves. A piece of clothing is not enough, you need a good attitude and confidence in yourself to achieve it. My biggest accomplishment has been to create transformable fashions. My goal is that women express and find their own authenticity in my clothing; I want them to feel confident and beautiful. When I'm draping fabric on a mannequin I'm not thinking of the garments' final look, instead I'm visualizing the woman looking and feeling great.

I'm Ximena Valero, fashion designer, and I taste my success with Special K.

Attention All Boutique Buyers: Ximena Valero LLC is Coming to Las Vegas During the MAGIC Trade Show

We are coming back to Las Vegas and will be in the middle of it all during one of the busiest apparel trade shows of the year!

Ximena Valero will be teaming up with a few other designers and will be presenting our collection at an exclusive suite (Suite No. 20001) at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino during MAGIC from today to this Thursday, 08/19/2010. This will be a great opportunity for boutique buyers from across the country to come check out the well-designed and high-quality XV creations in person.

Also, we will be participating in Label Junkie Wednesday by the Fashion Committee at the Lavo Nightclub at Palazzo Hotel and Casino tomorrow (Wednesday, 08/18/2010) night. It will be a fun evening of meet-and-greet!

Highlight on the Dolce

The Dolce dress drapes beautifully on the body and features a hand-braided strap with a ruched neckline. Ximena Valero Swimsuit Fashion Show & 2010 Model Search Winner

As dozens of aspiring models lined up with hopes of becoming the next face of a global designer brand, the 2010 Ximena Valero Model Search was in full swing last Friday, 08/06/2010.

Amid poolside revelers at The Venetian's TAO Beach in Las Vegas, the chosen finalists strutted the stage with the 2011 Ximena Valero Spring/Summer Swimwear Collection and dazzled everyone with their vibrant personalities. With our emcee (Harmony) and DJ (Crystal) also entertaining the crowd, the audience was impressed by the models and showered the new XV Swim Collection with great approval.

At the end, Lisa Rosentreter from Vancouver, BC was named the winner of the 2010 Ximena Valero Model Search. Fellow Canadian Kelly Foss was selected as the first runner-up. Ximena personally congratulated the winners on stage, as well as presenting them with thousands of dollars worth of prizes. We would like to thank all of the contestants for participating in this event and we look forward to our model search next year!

A big shout out to the photographers, hair and make up artists, and accessory designers who helped to make this event happen!
